Malaysia meets tourism targets for 2008

The global economy might not be doing well today, but tourism officers of Malaysia have successfully met their arrival targets for the year 2008--more than 22 million arrivals that account for more than a 5 percent increase.

India has also met its targets to increasingly become and important tourist market for Malaysia, with Indian arrivals of about 500,000 last year. More details here at MoneyControl.com
