Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will be given the Governor of Malacca's award which will carry the tittle of "Datuk", after his 2001 movie, promoted the state as a top tourist destination.

Mohammad Sirrat Abu told AFP. Khan's movies that are seen internationally surely will boost tourism in Malaysia and has given them free advertisement.

Khan's movie in 2001, "One 2 Ka 4" filmed at a popular resort in Malacca increased the number of tourist visiting there.
