Scomi Engineering Bhd and Indian partner Larsen and Toubro Ltd, have was awarde the 1.85 billion ringgit ($518.21 billion) contract for the first monorail systme in Mumbai Metropolitan Region in India.
The project is expected to be completed in five years with the two companies sharing jobs with the 19.54 km monorail and would begin from the west side of Mumbai at Gadge Maharaj Chowk to Chembur through Wadala.
