The Pomelo, or Chinese grapefruit, is a large citrus fruit originally from Malaysia. Because they are generally larger than grapefruit there is more tasty flesh. The flesh can be yellow or coral pink and is usually not as juicy as a grapefruit. Pomelos are typically available from December through May.Original source: Providence Journal.
